CAN YOU FOLLOW GURU'S WORDS

This is the biggest shock of my spiritual journey. Most people cannot have a guru. Secondly they can not listen to a guru. Even if they listen to the guru, they cannot follow the guru’s words. You can see in satsang, discourse and in bhajans, many people live in the same way after listening to it. The reason is karma or ego or any thing. I have had fantastic students like surendar, vijay and jayashree who have taken me as their guru and followed my words to the last letter. Their niyama has stunned me and many times I found that I am not as good in following my guru as they are in following me. I have resisted my guru words few times.

Any way a guru is a foresight, anti-adharmic software. If you meet your real guru then the energy will change. You will find there is churning of the inner world. The values, ideas and perception of reality will change. One is forced to confront the lower nature. The lower personality nature’s grip goes away and the spiritual thirst begins to lurk the soul. One cannot follow guru in a choiceful manner of what fits us and what does not fits in. One needs to follow all the time. The stake becomes higher, the sacrifices becomes larger. One will become mad; there will be things we need to give up like fame, money, power and ego. Guru is not one of the priorities. He is the priority. One needs put relatives, children, and spouse’s work after his words. One man told me “I am just an ordinary person. Do not churn me and shatter me like this. It is just simple words. Guru’s words will have spiritual logic and magic.

What to do if one is not able to listen to guru’s word.
Listen and give total attention. Do not waste time in expression. Listening is the key way to become better. Ask him doubts if need be other wise he will answer on his own.
Pay the guru. Whenever you meet and talk to him leave dakishna. Whether he wants or not, give him. May be give him what he likes,If not just leave money, it is spiritual donation. When karma becomes low, this punya becomes high one can follow the words
make him eat some thing. Buy some food or make him eat
many times when they take the blessing they keep quite. Tell him may I follow your words and secondly may I follow your life style.
Thank him mentally and pray for his prayers to be in top shape, If you cannot meet him daily.
finally do not speak ill of other guru.
Remember many times when the karma is thick one can have guru and need not follow the words. Many people do not have live guru and they have dead great men as the guru or people whom they meet as the guru which is ok.

Some times help, advice or timely guidance can come from other people. Learn to appreciate that person’s ability to guide you. I have seen many times they will take guidance and say it is sai baba’s grace or their guru grace etc. this is ok. But then real guidance came from that person and if you do not acknowledge them one cannot follow it
people run to astrologer or any kind of guru and do not get good guidance because they have use and throw- do not pay attitude. In the long run this will be spiritually damaging. One will see the link getting cut on their own. If you get a good guru remember to thank god every day.
I pray god that may every one who reads this article will follow their guru words.
