FASTER METHODS IN SADHANA

Very early in my life I was not fascinated with any mantras or rituals. In fact my teacher sensei kirtie explained to me one day “when you die what you can take from this world is the mantra”. Slowly I began to realise that mantras do have an impact.

There are 3 ways of doing a mantra sadhana
Doing the moola mantra
secondly doing any mantra with minimum rituals like doopa or deepam.
Doing mantra like Hindu rituals

I found the moola mantra is very effective. This method is slow. But then some one who can drive a car only at 40 km speed better to stick on to this method. This is practised in ISCKON or in the most Hindu or guru places
Second method is better. Most people offer naivedyam. This will also increase the down load of divine energy. This is like driving the car at 60 kms per hour
The last method of doing shodasa upachara rituals or the rituals performed by Hindu Brahmin priests. This method is awe some. If one has clarity of mind one can see the deity coming inside the person. Many times as a Hindu priest I realised the steps given in the traditions is not only meaningful but awe some. It clears the energy block at many levels.
Many of the so called modern saints do allow homam to happen because deep inside they know it works very well. Many a times people get carried away by the propaganda that bhajan is enough or just moola mantra is enough. That is true but if one wants to travel faster then this method is awe some.

Faster than this is the field of tantra. I have found that yoni tantra is one of the fastest ways to bring a deity or divine energy. I remember the famous dialogue of
Rajinikanth, the tamil actor who says “what I tell one time is equal to 100 times”. The same way tantric method produces very fast results.
