Medical industry will repeat computer industry success.

Imagine yourself in 1987 when few companies were making money in the computer industry, you would have never anticipated such a boom within next 20 years . The same will happen in pharmaceutical industry in the next 15 years down the line.

The world will purchase medicine to a large extent from India, who will manufacture medicine in India. Many African and South American companies will buy from India.
The medical tourism In Chennai will pick up in leaps and bounds. South Chennai will become leading place in medical tourism.
Indian pharma industry will develop leaps and bounds.
They will increase turn over in terms of global market.
Many pharma companies will form alliances partnerships with multinational companies.
Winning cases for generic rights will become past time hobby.,
It will be like David winning against goliath.
There will be many mid and small size companies growing and reaching the turn over of ranbaxy and glaxo companies.
New molecules and research- Indian will become pioneer.
There will be increase in Para medical colleges.
Huge boom will be there for technicians like x-ray, radiology, cat labs and for nurses ward boys etc.
Many western countries will start body shopping which will become out sourcing boom where large companies will work in contracts.
The south will become the powerhouse in medical tourism.
Many people from India and south East Asia will come to Chennai and other places like Bangalore for treatment.
Number of medical colleges will increase two fold.
The alternative medical industry will also have growth of more than 50%
Specialist shops for diabetes, heart will be opened.
Availability awareness and purchase of organic food will increase 10 fold in the coming 10 years
Many latest equipment will be available in the c and d level hospital in Chennai and bangalore
Multiple super specialty hospital for heart, liver diabetes and heart care will increase and will get quadrupled from the existing number
Testing and research will be taking many states of Indian.
Indian will become leading place for research in pharma
This will help us with the invention of new molecules etc.
Many Biotechnology companies will be listed in the market. This will have huge impact.

Medical tourisms and ayruvedic tourisum will increase 10 fold.
Many Indian companies will open ayurvedic spas, schools and colleges resorts in the west.

India's drug industry is over Rs one lakh crore

India, Dec. 3 -- The Indian Pharmaceutical industry has become the third largest in the world in terms of volume, valued at over Rs one lakh crore, the Parliament was informed today.
"The Indian pharmaceutical industry, now over one lakh crore (US $ 20 billion) industry, has shown tremendous progress in terms of infrastructure development,technology base creation and a wide range of products," Minister of State in the Chemicals and Fertilisers Ministry Srikant Kumar Jena said in the Lok Sabha in reply to a written query.
The country now ranks third worldwide by volume and 14th by value thereby accounting for around 10 per cent of the world's production by volume and 1.5 per cent by value, he added. "Globally, it ranks fourth in terms of generic production and 17th in terms of export value of bulk actives and dosage forms," Jena said.
Indian exports pharmaceuticals to more than 200 countries around the globe, including highly regulated markets of USA, West Europe, Japan and Australia.
