There are various models which operate in the spiritual world. Many people have followed one model or the other. Of course these are the models and not the end results as what some people think
The bhajan model of sai baba - this is a model in which many people do bhajan for one hour some times for two hours on Thursday. They listen to discourse or do some seva.
The pooja and bhajan model of Mata Amritanada Mayi which fits in with many people where they do bhajan plus some pooja like sani dosha , rahu dosha plus lalitha saharasnama. It is a mix of pooja and bhajan.
The workshop model which is used by many people like that of ravi shankar, maharishi mahesh yogi or kalki where they teach as workshop for people on various subjects or different aspects of spiritual life.
Then there is intense retreat type of meditation classes like vippsana zen or even for that matter nityanada of thiruvanamalai. Single day retreat like that in the Christianity is there.
Many of them do have traditional structure like pooja of Hindu style. Some of them like are followers of bala tripurasundari where they do 4 hours or so of pooja.
Then there are traditional priest who do the Hindu rituals. One other model is like that of Ramana maharishi type which any one can do anything without disturbing people. This is followed in J.Krishnamoorthy school also. Some school rise in fall like theosophy, like Muktanda School etc.
Each model has its own use and many people follow more than one type of model.

May I dedicate this merit for the birth of son in my lineage, my brother’s marriage, my sadhana to grow stronger and to the formation of spirtual lineages of my style of astrology.
