I was traveling in a bus towards Palani and when I visited the temple, I realized that the temple itself is a greatest wonder of the world. The western people have seven wonder or probably 8 wonder of the world. They see what is big is beautiful and is of the greatest achievements. Some of these wonder no longer exist for them.

See the one of the greatest wonder of Palani. The temple's great navapasana statue of lord Murga had survived for number of centuries without any problem. Secondly it is suppose to cure all diseases, which is a miracle itself. Thirdly the temple is associated with a greatest siddhars who had jeeva Samadhi. This in itself a miracle of all miracles. Normal people when they die, their dead body decays and for these great siddhars ,their body had survived without any decay for long number of years with out any external aid or help. No other temple in India or in the world has such a kind of power to heal all diseases.

There fore I would rank the great temple of palani as one of the world’s greatest wonder. Even the so-called leaning tower of Pisa or hanging garden of Babylon or china had such usefulness to the world for so many numbers of centuries.

The arrogance and ignorance of west never acknowledges the eastern contribution. That is why all these architecture and beauties never even got mentioned in the history books of the west.

Many be I will list what are the 8 greatest wonders of the world. May be we can say it as the spiritual wonder of the world.

Temple in Tamilnadu, which has the greatest architecture marvels. These Include The Great Thanjavur Shiva Temple, Kalaisanathar Temples.
Palani Murgan Statue.
Ajantha And Ellora Caves (which some astounding visual effects)
The cave of Bhagwan Nityananda, which has water pouring automatically even today. People could not trace its source.
The amaranth temple of mount Kailash Where Linga gets formed automatically.
The jeeva Samadhi Of Raghavendra and some of the greatest teachers of India.
Lake manasarovar.
The temples of kamakiaya and sri sailam where the goddess statue menstruates.
The wells of ramanatha swami temples, where the water of different wells have different tastes.

All these have defied natural laws and survived long number of years. I would call it a miracle, which deserves to be called as wonder of the world. May be the spiritual wonders of the world.
